Melanie is a certified childbirth educator and soon to be certified postpartum doula, birth doula, and certified breastfeeding counselor.  I discovered my passion for children at a young age through volunteering at the church nursery and Vacation Bible School. She attended Texas Woman’s University in Denton and got her BGS in Special Education and Reading Education and worked in the field of Autism therapy for several years before starting her own family with her husband.  In January 2023 she had her daughter and through experiencing the many struggles of motherhood and postpartum decided to give back to the community as a birth worker.  She believes through her experiences she can empower women and families to face the challenges of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with support.

When not working or spending time with her daughter  she enjoys crafting, cooking, baking, and volunteering at church and in the community.
